Sarah Trigger Arrested for Child Abuse

Two and a Half Men star Jon Cryer’s ex-wife Sarah Trigger was arrested and booked on a charge of felony child neglect.  The two were married from 1999-2004 and have an eight year old son Charlie Austin Cryer.

To clarify, the name of the child in question has not been released because he is a minor.  Here’s what we do know – the police arrived at her residence in Hermosa Beach to investigate a claim of child neglect and what they found was reported to be disturbing.

The child in question had evidence of bruising as well as rope or chord marks around his neck.  A weapon was found on the scene that is believed to have caused some of the visible injuries.

Bail for Trigger was set at $100,000 and she has been released.  The child is reported to be out of harm’s way now and the Department of Children and Family Services is involved in the case.

The ex-wife of Two and a Half Men star Jon Cryer was arrested early Friday morning for felony child neglect. Sarah Trigger was arrested after police responded to reports of an injured child.

The actress, whose film credits include Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey and an episode of CSI Miami, was booked on one count of felony child neglect. The child who was injured has not been identified. Cryer and Trigger, who were married in 1999 and divorced in 2004, have an 8-year-old son, Charlie Austin.

Cryer is currently married to entertainment reporter Lisa Joyner.
